New (to me) Sailboat

 This blog will be a spot for me to share what I learn about my new sailboat - a 1979 Wilderness 21.

• Wilderness 21, 1979, hull #18
• Previous homeport is Newport, Oregon since around 2005 under the name “Western Flyer”
• Before that it was down in San Diego under the name “Vamp”.  I’d love to know more about its previous life down there.
• Designed by Chuck Burns (friended him on facebook!)
• Built in Santa Cruz at Wilderness Boat Works
• Bought this 2 months ago.
• There used to be a collection of info on the Wilderness 21 on a Yahoo group but that is no longer.
